A new feature was introduced in NPrinting April 2020 which allows for the import of Alternate email addresses
If you encounter an NPrinting Import Task error, please verify that you are using the correct import file.

 

Environment

  • April 2020 and later versions

 

Resolution

  • To import successfully, you must use a valid import file. The valid import file will contain the following columns on the users sheet of the recipient import xlsx file: Alternate email 1, Alternate email 2, Alternate email 3.
  • To ensure you have a valid import file, please download a copy of examples.zip from the following link, extract the zip to obtain the recipients.xlsx import file

Cause

  • Using a version of the recipient import file from versions of NPrinting prior to April 2020 release will cause your NPrinting recipient import task to fail
  • Three new alternate email fields are now part of the recipient import process from April 2020 NPrinting and must be present in the recipient import file which is available in the link https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/Content/NPrinting/Examples/Examples.htm
