Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows is installed on an Azure Cloud platform.

The user with access to the QMC notice that Qlik Sense hangs on opening tabs and that action buttons return an Cannot load property "hasClass" of undefined error.

Cannot read property 'hasClass' of undefined.png

Environment

Resolution

  1. Allow the following patterns in the Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF):

    •  /qrs/
    • /api/dataprepservice/v1/apps/
    • /api/odag/v1/
    • /qps/logout
    • /samlauthn/

You may need to ask your Azure admin to do this.

  2. Check if there are false positives triggering blocking of access in the Azure app gateway. If so, white-list the issue URLs.

Cause

This problem is due to an access block in Azure. In most cases, the Azure Web Application Firewall blocks some patterns needed by Qlik Sense.
