When an iOS device gets locked, the connection to Qlik Sense on Safari gets interrupted after a few seconds.
The issue is probably due to the operating system suspending the running application after some time when the device is locked. This will terminate the websocket connection, and therefore close the session.
A suspended application in iOS will only allow specific network connections (like audio streams or voip), and websocket is not among those.
This is something that cannot be controlled by Qlik, it's iOS way of optimizing system resources: https://medium.com/@chinthaka01/the-execution-states-of-an-ios-application-84e117132e27
There might be ways to mitigate this. For instance having a higher-end device with more resources available or turning off the battery saving mode if active, but websocket interruptions will eventually still occur.
