Environment:
- Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows, February 2020
Qlik Sense services are being automatically started after the Upgrade wizard automatically stops them in order to perform the upgrade. This effectively locks files that need to be updated and the upgrade fails.
Resolution:
Ensure the services are not being started by any monitoring agent(s) in the environment.
Workaround(s):
- Set all Qlik Sense services to "Manual" prior to upgrading.
