There may be the chance that on Sense versions Feb 2019 and newer, (could associate with older versions as well) when creating a new app and opening the data load editor, or opening an existing app, the Rest Connectors appear as "unknown" in Data Connections:Environment:
- Qlik Sense Enterprise February 2019
Possible corruption of extension files.
It is possible, the QvRestConnector is misconfigured. (C:\Program Files\Common Files\ Qlik \CustomData\QvRestConnector folder)
One option to try if you do not see anything obvious in the QvRestConnector logs located in C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Custom Data\QvRestConnector\Log
is to rename the current QvRestConnector folder and perform a repair on Qlik Sense (this will create a new QvRestConnector folder and contents):
1. Rename the QvRestConnector folder located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Qlik\CustomData\
on all nodes
2. Perform a Qlik Sense repair in Programs and Features on all nodes (A repair creates a new QvRestConnector folder structure)
Please review this article for considerations when repairing Qlik Sense : Repair in Control Panel Programs
Once the repair is complete, retest opening the Data Load Editor and review the Data Connections.
