How to disable the data collection traffic between Qlik Sense Enterprise and the Qlik Data Engineering backend

It may be necessary to disable the data collection enabled during Qlik Sense install. See What diagnostic data is sent by the Qlik Sense installer? on details about what data is collected and sent to where. 

Qlik Sense will otherwise send data to sqs.us-east-1.amazonaws.com.

Environment:

Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows 

 

Resolution:

1. Open the Qlik Sense Management Console
2. Navigate to Service Cluster 
3. Scroll down to Help us Improve (it may be necessary to enable to menu on the right side)
4. Check or uncheck the Data collection tickbox.
