What is the best way to trigger a reload task in Qlik Sense after a task in QlikView finishes? Does this need to be done with a tool like Qlik-Cli?

Environment:
QlikView
Qlik Sense

Unfortunately, third-party tools like Qlik-Cli are not supported, however, there is a native option to accomplish this goal. Using the QlikView REST connector, a task can be triggered in Qlik Sense via its API when the task in QlikView finishes. The API call would have to be made from script to the connector, but the end result is a native option to achieve the goal. If there is still a need to use Qlik-Cli to trigger tasks, then this article should help https://developer.qlik.com/garden/58b83eb68bc22ec70e8788f3.

Hi Sonja, how do you configure for the native solution? I've been trying to so something similar to the way we kick off NPrinting tasks but I can't get the Session Cookie from Sense and it's returning as CSV instead of JSON

Hello @sique132

This is out of scope for us to be able to look into in this article. I would recommend posting this question on our community forum, especially this one: Qlik Sense Extensions or QlikView Integration. (which I see you have already done).

The SME who could assist is already engaged with you in this discussion.

All the best,
Sonja
