You can check the status of the engine by issuing an HTTP GET request on one of the following URLs. In Qlik Sense Enterprise, the health check request is called via the Qlik Sense Proxy Service, which routes the request to the engine on the same physical computer.

Qlik Sense Enterprise Engine

URLs to use:

https://server.domain.com:4747/healthcheck

or

https://server.domain.com/engine/healthcheck/

To request the health check information for a different node, use that node's IP address with the engine port (4747 by default). For example:

https://<IP ADDRESS>:4747/healthcheck

You may be asked to select a certificate to authenticate with:

healthcheck.png

Once successfully connected, this output will be sent back:

healthcheck2.png

Qlik Sense Desktop

Use one of the below:

http://localhost:4848/engine/healthcheck/

or

http://localhost:4848/healthcheck/

See the Qlik Online Help for more information.

Environment :

  • Qlik Sense Enterprise, all versions
  • Qlik Sense Desktop, all versions
