"Suppress Zero-Values" presentation setting of Line Chart failing to suppress

When using Grouped Subtype Line Charts with Styles (Look) below (second on list), the zero values do not seem to be suppressed as per configuration under the Presentation chart object properties tab.

This is per design and the second Look relies on the sum value of the two values resultant of the two expressions added to the chart. In contrast, the first Look does not rely on the that sum and traces the two lines independently.
In the third Style Look we see that by forcing the result to equal 0 (e.g 'Sum(Val2)-8') it is effectively suppressing the zero values resultant of the sum.
A workaround is to force the result of the sum to equal zero (e.g 'Sum(Val2)-8'). However, this cause non-zero values to be excluded from the chart which may not be desirable, in which case a different Style Look should be used.
