This article explains why Support Portal users receive an invalid login error when attempting to login to the portal using the "View/Comment" button link received via email.
The email with the invalid link comes from <email@example.com> and looks like this:
Reason for Invalid Link:
The "View/Comment" button routes to a web page outside of the Support Portal. The landing page does not accept Qlik Account credentials, which results in an error when attempting to login.
This is a known issue by the Qlik Support team. The link cannot be updated at this time.Proposed Solution:
There are two recommended ways to navigate to the Support Portal without using the "View/Comment" button
- Open up an internet browser and navigate to the Support Portal directly. Login to the Support Portal with Qlik Account credentials to view and comment on the respective support case.
- Click on the link in the plain text email that also is sent when there is a comment added to a case. The link will redirect to the Support Portal to view and comment on the respective support case. The email looks like this:
