Qlik NPrinting license key cannot be activated due to the missing product-level support date on the LEF file.
Environment:
Qlik NPrinting
Serial Number and Control Number License (with LEF)
When trying to apply the license with the license key and control number, users are redirected to the offline activation screen:
Notice the message displayed which may be misleading Unable to contact the Qlik NPrinting enabling server.
When copy-pasting the LEF file and pressing Activate offline button, the Activation failed error is shown:
This indicates that the product is missing its support date in the LEF.
Resolution:
- Verify if your LEF file is missing the product level support date. This information usually visible on the LEF file as highlighted in the example below.
- If the date is missing, contact Customer Support by clicking on the blue Help button on the Support Portal to report the issue so the license can be corrected by the Qlik Finance team.
