After upgrading the client's system from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (now using the IE11 or Edge browser), Macros no-longer work in Qlikview.Environments:
- Qlikview, all versions
- IE11 or IE Edge
Microsoft deprecated VBscript in IE11, and does not support VBscript in Edge.
Please see the article Considerations When Using Macros In QlikView
In summary, Microsoft deprecated VBScript in Internet Explorer 11 and no longer supported in IE11 edge mode. VBscript can run in legacy document modes (IE10 standards mode and earlier), so in order to use your scripts you need to setup the user's browser to run in legacy document mode.
