Adding a Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows Rim node fails with the error

Incorrect Password

Environment:

Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows

This occurs when:

  1. The Central node and the rim node are separated in a different network, for example, one node is in DMZ.
  2. Port 4444 on the central and rim nodes are blocked.
  3. This issue is caused by access issues when attempting to access/recreate the certificates and/or other GPO's that affect certificates.

Resolution:

  1. Move the nodes into the same network
  2. Open port 4444 on the central and rim nodes
  3. Add the registry key for the rim nodes shown in solution https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/Qlik-Sense-Hub-and-Management-Console-down-Bootstrap-fails-N...
