An administrator may notice warnings in the Proxy > Trace > Audit_Proxy logs that complain about setting the Access-Control-Allow-Origin HTTP header.
Cannot add additional response header Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * since a header with that name is already set
- Qlik Sense 3.2.5 and Higher
In Qlik Sense 3.2.5, the Qlik Sense Proxy no longer honors the Access-Control-Allow-Origin header value set in the Additional response headers field. Access-Control-Allow-Origin values are passed by the Qlik Sense Proxy by the Host white list. Previously there were functionally two methods for controlling what web addresses could display Qlik Sense content (Additional response headers and Host white list). In Qlik Sense 3.2.5, this is simplified so that an administrator only needs to set the value in the Host white list.
Remove any Access-Control-Allow-Origin additional headers on all virtual proxies
- QMC > Virtual Proxies > Edit Virtual Proxy > Advanced > Additional response headers
!!!! NOTE !!!!!
If the QMC Console fails to come back online at any point, and restarting services do not resolve it, restart the operating system.
