The NPrinting Connection verification attempt results in the failure shown in the image below:The NP engine log also produces the error described below as well.

: QlikViewPool returning false
A newer version of the QV desktop is replaced by an older version of the QV Desktop and the newer version does NOT match the QlikView server version. The QV desktop installed on the NP engine computer must be the same version as the QV server.
Unless all QV files folders are completely removed after uninstalling the newer QV version, configuration information and files left behind results in this error on the NP Engine computer.
Reinstalled QV desktop on NP engine computer resolves the issue
