This article describes how to update a User Directory Connector (UDC) that previously worked in Sense 2.x, but doesn't in Sense 3.x (to now included the database schema name)
You receive the following error:
The User Directory (UDC) is not configured, because the following error occurred: Error when validating tables: One or more of the expected tables qlik_users and qlik_groups are not present
Qlik Sense 2
Qlik Sense 3
Earlier versions of Qlik Sense the database schema name didn't need to be specified for the UDC.
In the example here the UDC connection is specifying:User Table name: qlik_users Attributes table name: qlik_groups
These values need to be changed to include the database schema
name where these tables exist. This should be added as a prefix to the table name you specify (and separated with a .
for example if the database schema
name is called public
you can change these as follows:User Table name: public.qlik_users Attributes table name: public.qlik_groups
You can find out your database schema name by connecting to your Postgre database with the PgAdmin tool. See Installing and Configuring PGAdmin 4 to access the PostgreSQL database used by Qlik Sense
