Reload and distribution task fails with the below messages in the specific task logs:

Warning    The QlikView Engine is Reloading, it will be killed (Please ignore logged warnings/errors about the kill).

Warning    The QlikView Engine is Reloading, it will be killed (Please ignore logged warnings/errors about the kill).
Information    Reload was aborted.

followed by:

Error    The task "TASKNAME" failed. Exception: || QDSMain.Exceptions.TaskFailedException: Task execution failed with errors to follow. ---> QDSMain.Exceptions.ReloadFailedException: Reload failed ---> System.Threading.ThreadAbortException: Thread was being aborted. ||

Environment:

QlikView

Resolution:

Review the timings of the reload failure.  If the abort happens at the same point in time in each occurrence, the timeout values need to be modified.

Note: If the QlikView server does not have a publisher license, then the setting to be modified is under the User Documents > specific task > Reload > Timeout seconds: (default 21600)

Open the QlikView Management Console

  1. Navigate to Documents
  2. Open Source Documents
  3. Find the failing task
  4. Open the Triggers tab.
  5. Modify the "TimeOut" value
