A changed User Name in the Active Directory is not picked up by QlikViewArticle Number: 000040325 | Last Modified: 2020/04/28
Changing the Name from the properties field in the Active Directory will not be sufficient for QlikView.
Example:The user Marina Andersson has had her last name changed to Svensson.
To see the Active Directory console, use start -> run -> dsa.msc

Qlikview presents her username and UserID as:
To change her name, right click on the AD user and choose the new name:
If this is not the case, verify that the Cache limit in the Directory Service Provider settings isn't set to a too high value. It will always be possible that this is how long the new synchronization can take the first time:
