A user's credentials have changed (User name / User ID modified) in the Active Directory (AD), but QlikView is not picking up the new value.
There are multiple ways to rename an user in the Active Directory. A specific option will work for QlikView.
Changing the Name from the properties field in the Active Directory will not be sufficient for QlikView.
The Full Name field in the Active Directory needs to be modified. This is the field QlikView picks up with the default Active Directory connector.
The user Marina Andersson has had her last name changed to Svensson.
To see the Active Directory console, use start -> run -> dsa.msc

To change her name, right click
on the AD user and choose the new name:
After the rename process is complete, the new last name will be displayed in QlikView:
If this is not the case, verify that the Cache limit
in the Directory Service Provider settings isn't set to a too high value. It will always be possible that this is how long the new synchronization can take the first time:
