NPrinting 17 and Higher Versions: Report Preview error "The preview request failed :.." after an update of a Qlik Sense or QlikView app object used in the report

Previewing of an NPrinting report works as expected, but when an app object (used in the report) is altered in the QlikView or Qlik Sense app, the report will give an error similar to the one below when previewing a report. (Error messages may vary)
Source objects have been updated and require updating in the NPrinting report template
This is a well-known behavior. The underlying issue is that Sense and QV objects, like columns or event entire chart IDs have changed or been updated in the source application. In these cases NPrinting uses an id based on the original chart properties and or expressions. A change in the chart ID or expression causes a change of the Object Id, and this breaks the preview generation. To update the computed Object ID, you need to:
1. Reload the metadata cache for the affected NPrinting Connection
2. Open the NP designer/report.
3. Right-click on the affected/changed chart table and then click on "Update" to insert the affected chart changes. If the entire chart was replace, you need to search for the new chart ID in the Template editor and add that chart ID to the template editor replacing the original chart ID.
