Qlik Sense: Making all Data Connections visible for all users

As per a default setting only the creator can see the data connection that was created. This can lead to the error "violation of uniqueness" when another creator attempts to create a matching Data Connection via Hub when working on the same app.

Environment:

• Qlik Sense Enterprise all versions

 

 Resolution:

This can be resolved by allowing all Data Connections available for all creator (developer) users in the Qlik Sense Hub.

This is done by creating a security rule in the Qlik Sense Management Console > Security Rules, such as the one below. Note: The one below allows all users.
