How to Resolve - Exchange Cluster Email not sent via front end load balanced address & multinode exchange servers

If you are using a  front end load balanced address & multinode exchange or other SMTP email servers, email will fail to be delivered to recipients as NPrinting does not support the user of front end load balancing servers.

 

Environment:

Qlik NPrinting 

NPrinting is not able to distribute to specific nodes behind a front end load balanced address. ie: Netscalar, F5 etc.

Resolution:

When using a single individual MS exchange node FDQN or other SMTP server (fully qualified domain name) address behind Netscalar or other load balancer front end addresses, email is sent normally. Also, a valid 'reply to' address must be used in the NPrinting server SMTP configuration settings.
