Qlik Sense with Shared Persistence
In a few cases, we have seen that administrators had a difficult time setting up the connection between a central Qlik Sense node and a RIM node in a special sub-net of the network. Usually it was a DMZ zone where special restrictions were being applied.
Strictly use the port schema documented at help.qlik.com, you should be able to initialize the QlikSense RIM node.
From Internet to DMZ-RIM-node:
Incoming 80, 4248 for http
Incoming 443, 4244 for https
From DMZ-RIM-node to Internal-Central-node:
Incoming 4899, 4747, 4239, 4949, 4900, 9028
Bi-directional communication port between DMZ-RIM-node and Internal-Central-node:
Bi-directional 4241, 4242
Once used port between the Internal-Central-node and the DMZ-RIM-node:
(Used for the initial transfer of data & certificate)
