Tables do not concatenate when using First load prefix in a loopArticle Number: 000033580 | Last Modified: 2019/10/22
This happens in QlikView 12 when loading first n rows from m multiple tables/ data sources with the same data structure into a single table using First load prefix in conjunction with Loop. Result of this load is a table with n rows instead of n x m rows as expected.
For example, consider the following script:
The intention is to load only first row for field Expresion3 from each of the 4 qvd source files into a 4-row table. However, the resulting table contains only 1 row:
- Load the table with First prefix as a temporary table
- Resident load this temp table to the actual table
- Finally, drop the temp table.
