How to reduce the size of the Operations Monitor?

By default, Operation Monitor and License Monitor will load several months of log data which might lead to long load time, high CPU usage for a long time. If having such an old history is not needed and you wish to limit the number of logs loaded, you will need to modify the load script.
 

Resolution

Follow the below procedure:

1. In the QMC, from Apps, duplicate Operation Monitor or License Monitor.
2. Go to the hub and open the duplicating app.
3. Open the Data Load Editor
   
   
4. Modify cutoffDate for example:
   LET cutoffDate = today()-7;  // For loading just the last 7 days
5. Save.
6. Remove the “governance” QVDs from %PROGRAMDATA%\Qlik\Sense\Log
7. From the QMC, publish the duplicated app and overwrite the original one.
