Qlik Sense Desktop 3.0 does not start through Windows shortcut.
Qlik Sense Desktop can be started successfully through the QlikSense.exe, in C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\Programs\Qlik\Sense
- Right-click the Qlik Sense Desktop shortcut
- Select "Properties"
- Select the "Shortcut" tab
- Find the "Start in" field
- Replace any current value with %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Qlik\Sense
- Apply the change and try again
