Importing an app (.qvf) developed in the desktop client fails with Error 500.
The Service Repository log will show a 500 Forbidden error similar as below:

Another user, such as the RootAdmin may be able to import the app OK.

Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows , all versions
This is caused by a folder connection existing in the app. When the folder connection does not exist in the Qlik Sense server system exactly like this, the user will attempt to create the connection. The user will not have the permissions to do so.

If the name of a data connection in the imported app is the same as the name of an existing data connection, the data connection will not be imported. This means that the imported app will use the existing data connection with an identical name, not the data connection in the imported app.
