Nothing is generated when you click on the On-Demand run button. Depending on the browser you are using,you may see a "Connection cannot be established" error message
This problem occurs when a connection cannot be established between the machine you are working on and the machine where NPrinting Server is installed.
1. Verify that you entered the correct server IP address or name in the Run button in "On-Demand service connection". You cannot use Localhost if On-Demand is used from external machines.
2. Open the browser and enter the address:http:\\ServerName:PortNumber\odsServerName=
the name of your serverPortNumber=
the On-Demand port (usually 9000)
Are you able to see that page or do you get an error message?
If the page cannot be open:
i. Verify that your firewall is not blocking the port for On-Demand
ii. Be sure that you can connect to the machine where NPrinting Server is installed form the Client machine.
iii. Be sure that NPrinting Service is started.
3. Verify that the Extension Objects are correctly installed. Extension Objects are 3 subfolders named NPQueue, NPReport and NPTask inC:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\Extensions\Objects\NPrinting
Verify that they are there. The folder must be saved in the machine where NPrinting Server is installed and in the machine where QlikView Server is installed.
Please, reinstall NPrinting Server if you cannot find the extension folders. You can install only the Extension Objects running the QlikView NPrinting Server setup and choosing the "Custom Installation" option.
