Applying a legacy license to Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows, QlikView, or Qlik NPrinting may fail with:

Unable to update license information

or

Product Expired

An expired PRODUCTLEVEL tag in the LEF (License Enabler File), such as 2011-01-01, indicates the Maintenance agreement has expired and needs to be renewed to continue support and be eligible for major release upgrades.

Please note that the expired license can only be applied to a version of the product that was released before the expiry date.

The license cannot be applied to versions of the product released after the expiry date of the PRODUCTLEVEL.

Limitations:

  1. Without a current/paid maintenance agreement, no further Technical Support can be provided
  2. The license cannot be applied to versions of the product released after the expiry date

@Sonja_Bauernfeind I see an Access Denied error below your post. Is this a known issue?

Hello @rzenere_avvale !

Looks like the survey attached to this article is broken. Let me try and fix it 🙂

@rzenere_avvale Fixed!

It was the () in the title, the survey did not like that.
