Accessing the QlikView Management Console fails with error: Membership of local Security Group is missing
All, or some, administrators are unable to open the QlikView Management Console (QMC).

Resolution:

Anyone accessing the QMC has to either be a member of the QlikView Administrators Windows Security Group, or be configured as a Document Administrator (see How to set up Document Administrators).

Once group membership to the QlikView Administrator Windows Security Group has been added, the account may need to be logged off and logged back on to refresh membership information, or a server restart may be necessary.

Depending on the structure of the Active Directory and local Security policies, it may sometimes be necessary to create a new service account dedicated to QlikView.
Note: Server service should be running in the machine which QlikView server is installed.
