Issues are reported while opening an application from the AccessPoint where the application will not open and return an error. This problem occurs in a clustered QlikView Server (QVS) environment and persists after increasing the timeout values discussed under QlikView - "Session Lost" appears in the QlikView Access Point while loading an application
I. With IE plugin:
II. And with Ajax you may see "Session lost"
or "No Connection"
as see below:
In the Qlikview Server Eventlog the ticket is not found and the session is stopped due to Invalid IIS authenication String:...

If the Root directory points to the “C” drive the machines being in the cluster will have their own PGO files. So, if server 1 generates a ticket and the user ends up on server 2, server 2 will not have that ticket because the servers are not sharing the PGO files.
The other scenario this can occur is if the version of the TicketData.pgo file in the Root folder path becomes corrupt, i.e. the timestamp on the file ceases to update properly, it will be necessary to stop all QlikView Server services in the cluster, and then delete the TicketData.pgo file in the Root Folder path as well as those located in C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer path, and then restart the QlikView Server services.
In the Cluster setup (QMC\SystemSetup\QVS) make sure that the Root folder points to a shared location:
