What is included in the DocBinary.DAT file located in QlikView Project (PRJ) folders?

When creating a QlikView project (PRJ) folder the content of the QVW file is exported to various plain text files, like for example .XML and .TXT.

The PRJ folder will some times also contain a binary file, named DocBinary.DAT.

Environment:

QlikView 

The content of the file DocBinary.DAT is data that is not suitable to store in plain text files, like for example encrypted passwords for database connections.

Even though the file is not plain text it should be incorporated in any version control system used to manage the PRJ folder.
