This article applies to license with the following tag in the LEF:
where x represents the number of allowed documents
If this tag is present, only documents explicitly allowed will be accessible through the AccessPoint. Other documents will still show, but the error message “Failed to open document, you don’t have access to this document.” will be given when a user attempts to open it.
By default the first document opened through the AccessPoint will automatically be allowed, then the second one, and so on. However, it is possible to manually define which documents are currently allowed to be loaded.
- In the User Documents list in the QlikView Enterprise Management Console, select a document. Availability Limitations will be shown in the first view.
If the checkbox is ticked, the document will load. If too many documents are already allowed, the checkbox will be grayed out.NOTE:
If a document is deleted without first clearing the checkbox, the document slot will NOT be released. Always make sure to clear the availability limitations before deleting/moving a document. Should a document still have been deleted/moved, recreate a dummy document with the same name in the exact same folder structure as previously. The “Allow this document to be loaded by the QlikView Server” checkbox can then be cleared.
